The Town of Gilbert collects contained refuse (solid waste) twice a week and has placed San Tan Ranch in Zone 4 and Zone A, which means that our community’s trash pick-up schedule is as follows:

(New Schedule, effective April 2010)
Blue Bin (Recycling) – Tuesday
Black Bin (Solid Waste) - Thursday
Curbside Bulk Trash (Bulk & Green Waste) – 1st Monday of the month*
Landfill (San Tan Transfer Station or Salt River) – once a month**
Appliances (White Waste) – Contact Town of Gilbert to schedule pick up***

* Bulk Trash must be placed at the curb no earlier than the weekend immediately before Monday, but no later than Sunday night. The pickup will occur sometime within the collection week (M-F). Please review bulk trash guidelines and unacceptible items.

** Landfill requirements must be met. Landfill Use Program details can be found at the City of Mesa website and City of Scottsdale website.

*** To schedule appliance pickup, contact Town of Gilbert at 480-503-6400 before 12-noon on Wednesday of Bulk Trash week.

Don’t Trash, Donate!… Many bulk trash items are recyclable. Furniture, appliances, and clothing can be donated to non-profit organizations. Not only will you be helping the Community, you can also use the donation as an income tax deduction as well.
