The Community Forum is a separate communitcation website designed to allow residents in the community to post topics and have discussions, ask questions and/or send private messages to one another. The Forum was previously disabled in July of 2007, because of an abundance of spam and offensive content being posted. However, during the recent website administration transfer, we have decided to reformat the Forum and give it a try again. So, we are happy to announce that the San Tan Ranch Community Forum is now officially active.
Please feel free to logon* to the Forum and test it out.
You can also access the Forum via the link at the bottom of the Navigation Menu.
*NOTE: All previous Forum user accounts have been disabled… so you will need to re-register to obtain a new username and password
If you have any problems logging on or posting comments in the Forum, please contact the Webmaster for assistance.

As of July 12th 2008, the santanranch.org website will be administrated by myself, April Corbin. During June’s monthly meeting, the Board of Directors made the decision to transfer administration, primarily for financial reasons. We are extremely appreciative of everything that Jessica Green has done with the website over the many years… and we thank her for her hard work and dedication to the community.
As you may have noticed, there have been a lot of changes to the design and layout of the website, but most of the content has still remained the same. These changes have come about during the administration transfer process, as a necessary step in re-evaluating our communication functions and resources. There are still a few more changes that need to be made to ensure the accuracy and flow of the website, so I ask for your patience during this ongoing process. We welcome any comments and/or suggestions you may have about the website changes. Please submit your comments to the Webmaster mailbox found under the Contact Us link in the Navigation Menu. You may also post a comment on the San Tan Ranch Forum.
Thank you and have a great weekend!
April Corbin

Dear San Tan Ranch Residents,
The Board of Directors has voted to transfer administration of the website primarily for to financial reasons. My last day of service is July 12, 2008. It has been my pleasure administering the site and working with all of the loyal visitors over the past several years. I hope we will meet again sometime soon in our wonderful community!
Best wishes,
Jessica M. Green

I’m posting this message in the hopes that we can get a representative opinion on the users of this website. Out of 1803 homes, we have less than 40 represented on the Community Forum. Out of those, only about 10 are regular contributers.
Unfortunately, the abuse by spammers and advertisers is making the maintenance of the forum unmanageable. I spent approximately one hour each day cleaning up fake accounts and posts. I have tried countless ways to reduce the spam to little avail. It’s just too easy to spam message boards these days.
I would like to remove the Community Forum from the website, and instead use the Comments section of the main website blog for feedback purposes. I know the Forum is valuable to approximately ten people in the neighborhood who use it regularly, but I really can’t justify all the work put into it for such a small representation.
Please let me know what you think.
Thank you,
Jessica M. Green

We’ve been hit recently with a lot of spam activity on the Community Forum. Unfortunately, we have been forced to turn on account validation for registrations to the website. If you’d like to become a member, just fill out the New User form and we will approve it shortly.
Thank you very much to our residents who emailed to report the problem. We have removed the offensive posts and the bogus accounts. If you see anything else on the Forum that is inappropriate, please email us at santanranch@santanranch.org and let us know.

Have you joined our Community Forum yet? There are lots of residents already there, discussing issues in our very neighborhood. Do you want to know what people think about the new Skate Park? How about what people are saying about local businesses? Do you have a good suggestion for our neighborhood, or want your voice heard on another issue to see what other residents think?
Sign up today to join in on the discussion, and let us know what you think about the happenings in San Tan Ranch.

On November 9, 2006 the San Tan Ranch Board of Directors approved a proposal for a complete website redesign and ongoing management contract. My name is Jessica Green, I am proud to be your newly appointed web designer and content manager!
Over the next few days, you will see all of the information from the old website appear here, on this new one. I encourage you to take a look around and provide feedback and suggestions by adding a Comment here. We will soon have a Community Forum for all to join in and converse about what is happening at San Tan Ranch.
Thank you for your patience during this transition!
Sincerely,
Jessica M. Green
