Bulk Trash Reminder – Sunday Sep 5th

Don’t forget to set your bulk trash out at the curb this weekend, no later than Sunday night Sep 5th.
Bulk Trash will be collected next week, sometime between Monday and Friday (9/6-9/10).

IMPORTANT!… To avoid fines, trash should not be placed at the curb any earlier than 2 to 3 days before the first Monday of the month.

If your trash is not picked up by Friday, Sep 10th, please contact the Town of Gilbert at 480-503-6400 and advise them that your house (and/or entire neighborhood) was missed during the Bulk Trash collection week.

CANCELLED: July Board of Directors Meeting – 2010

The Board of Directors meeting for July 2010 has been cancelled at the last minute, because there will not be enough board members present to make quorum… so we will reconvene in August. We apologize for the short notice. Hope that everyone is having a great summer and we’ll see you next month!

NEW Trash Pick-Up Schedule… effective April 2010

The Town of Gilbert Solid Waste Services Division is transitioning to a 5-day refuse and recycling collection schedule, effective April 2010. The new schedule eliminates Saturday collection for all residential customers and has impacted the San Tan Ranch recycling collection schedule. The Recycling Trash day has been changed from Monday to Tuesday. Please remember to have your blue bin at the curb no later than 5am each Tuesday morning to ensure it is not missed.

NOTE: The Solid Waste Trash day will remain the same. Please remember to place the black bin at the curb no later than 5am each Thursday to ensure it is not missed. Also, Gilbert will continue to collect refuse and recycling on holidays.

Pavement Repairs – Sealcoating, Oct 13-16

PAVEMENT REPAIRS:
Repairs have been scheduled on San Tan Ranch alleyways and are currently underway. See below for the sealcoating schedule and map:

October 13, 2009
Section 1 (Blue) will be closed for sealcoating…
The pavement will be blocked off to all vehicular traffic and must be completely free of parked vehicles and other obstructions.
Vehicles that have not been removed may be towed at the Owner’s expense.

October 14, 2009
Section 2 (Green) will be closed for sealcoating.
Section 1 (Blue) will be closed to allow for drying and curing…
The pavement will be blocked off to all vehicular traffic and must be completely free of parked vehicles and other obstructions.
Vehicles that have not been removed may be towed at the Owner’s expense.

October 15, 2009
Section 3 (Red) will be closed for sealcoating.
Section 2 (Green) will be closed to allow for drying and curing…
The pavement will be blocked off to all vehicular traffic and must be completely free of parked vehicles and other obstructions.

ADDITIONAL NOTE:
Onsite access to a water source will be required for the project. The crew may need to utilize small amounts of water from private residences at various points throughout the community. The amount of water per attachment is usually 25 gallons or less.

Fall Community Garage Sale – Oct 3 & 4 – 2009

REMINDER: The second Community Garage sale of 2009 is this Saturday & Sunday, October 3 – 4. Get rid of unwanted clutter and plan to have a yard sale this weekend. The Fall Community Garage Sale will be advertised in the East Valley Tribune, as well as the Arizona Republic and Craigslist, and banners will be hung at the community entrances. If residents want to increase traffic to their individual yard sale, they can post additional signs directing shoppers from the entrances to their home.

GET READY… SET…
A date has finally been set for the second Community Garage sale of the year!
The Fall Community Garage Sale will be held on Saturday & Sunday, October 3 – 4 (2009). Please mark these dates on your calendars and get ready to rid yourself of unwanted clutter and/or make some extra cash. Each community garage sale is advertised in the East Valley Tribune, as well as the Arizona Republic and Craigslist. Banners are hung at the community entrances and residents who want to increase traffic to their individual yard sale post additional signs to direct shoppers from the entrances to their homes.

Grass Common Areas – Overseeding & Cert of Insurance

PLEASE KEEP OFF GRASS… from Sept 18th to Oct 20th

ProQual Landscaping will begin overseeding all grass common areas on Thursday, Sept 18th (see schedule below).
Please remain off all turf areas for 4 weeks, until Oct 20th, to allow the winter grass to germinate properly.

- Sept 18th… overseed main parks
- Sept 19th… overseed remaining areas
- Sept 19th… increase watering cycles to encourage germination
- Oct 20th… mow grass for first time since overseed

ATHLETIC TEAMS & RESIDENT GATHERINGS…
Please remember that all athletic groups, and some resident groups*, who utilize the San Tan Ranch common areas must provide Vision Community Management with a certificate of insurance.

*An example of a resident group needing to provide a certificate of insurance would be where a bouncy-house was setup on a common area.
If the equipment is vendor-owned, the vendor should have a certificate of insurance that they can provide.

HOA Quarterly Assessments – Due July 1st
